See Something to Think About at Art Gallery of Swift CurrentWe invite you and your group to the Art Gallery of Swift Current to participate in informative tours and interactive workshops. With the help of our professional staff, you can collectively engage with art exhibitions to enhance learning in any subject. By enriching your understanding of art, we will help you make sense of what you see.

Discovery Tours:

Sponsored by Saskatchewan Arts Board

Guided explorations of art exhibitions at the gallery. We can shape these tours to fit with any area of interest. Designed to encourage inquiry and to fulfill your experiential learning needs. Tours are conducted by the exhibition facilitators. They usually take 30-45 minutes or more.

Additional Workshops:

Following the gallery tour, your group may participate in an interactive art-making workshop related to the exhibition. Gallery educators will facilitate exploration of art materials, methods, and concepts. This component may take 30-45 minutes, or more.

Group tours are available mornings, afternoons, and evenings on weekdays, as well as mornings and afternoons on weekends.

Need a ride?

Art Gallery of Swift Current has two 14-passenger vans to transfer your group to the Gallery and back. City staff are available to drive. Transportation is sponsored by the City of Swift Current. Please request a ride at time of booking.

Hands-On Art Workshops

We come to you:

Qualified, experienced instructors will come to your community to conduct art workshops. We supply all materials and equipment. You supply the venue and the participants.

The art workshops:

Hands-on, practical, enlightening, fun material & methods.
Age Level: All ages – Workshops are adapted for all ages and abilities.
Number of Participants: Minimum of 6 participants; Maximum of 30 children, Maximum of 16 adults.
Studio space: classroom or other, to be determined at time of booking.
