Comics, Characters and Storyboarding (ages 15-adult)
What makes a successful cartoon or comic book character? How do you make the biggest visual impact on your audience when making a comic? Learn about character design and storyboarding techniques used in comics, illustration and animation! Students will learn to use materials that are used in the industry such as col-erase pencils, nib pens, and inks. For beginners and those with some drawing experience.

Learn about the art of caricature drawing. A caricature is a comically exaggerated representation of someone or something. Students will learn how to draw a portrait and exaggerate facial features to make a recognizable black and white caricature.
