Blowtorch the Mechanical Horse

Blowtorch the Mechanical Horse was the brain child of Swift Current Inventor W.J. McIntyre back in 1947. As a life size fully functioning horse, Blowtorch would frequent local parades and local functions. Later, it would become cultural folklore that would see it traveling across Canada.

This is another installment in the Stories from the Great Southwest documentaries. This episode was a partnership between the Swift Current Museum, Art Gallery of Swift Current and Overtime Communications Ltd.
