Bring your own lunch and join us for our artist talk series “Art for Lunch,” where we invite local artists to share their work and research with the community.
Our March presentation will feature George Tsourgrianis and take place Tuesday, March 24, from 12-1 pm in the AGSC Conference room.
George Tsougrianis is a Saskatchewan-based filmmaker whose work is shaped by the prairie landscape and the people who call it home. He crafts documentaries, series, and feature films that invite reflection and create space for connection — with land, with memory, and with each other. His storytelling is grounded in authenticity, patience, and a respect for the rhythms of prairie life.
Using natural light and a calm visual style, George aims to reveal meaning in the everyday and to honour the lived experiences of the communities he films. Through Overtime Studios, he creates work for broadcast, festivals, and community platforms that celebrates prairie identity and the human stories rooted in this place.
