Join us for a Sunday cyanotype workshop with Gabriela Garcia-Luna on July 28 at Gowan’s Grove!
10 am – Cyanotype Workshop
1 pm – Artist Social
3 pm – Fiddle Performance by Tristen Durocher
Cyanotype is a slow-reacting alternative photographic process that results in monochromatic blue prints. For nearly 200 years, this early-photographic process has been used in a variety of ways by artists and photographers.
The workshop will begin at 10am and lunch will be provided for participants.
The workshop will be followed by a casual artist social, where participants are encouraged to enjoy the beautiful landscape and socialize with each other. Feel free to bring along a small project to work on and share during this time.
The day will end with a fiddle performance by Tristen Durocher.
We encourage everybody to join us for all, or part, of the day! This is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet other local artists, and enjoy some incredible music!
The free workshop is limited to 12 participants and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, so please register early!
The artist social and performance are open to all, but we ask that you RSVP so we know how many people to expect.
