The 48-Hour Film Challenge is an opportunity for filmmakers of all ages and levels of experience to produce a 2–10-minute short film over the course of the August 8-10 weekend. Participants can work by themselves or in a team of up to five to bring their vision to life. Artists are encouraged to work in any genre of their choosing.
All films are entered into competition and will be adjudicated by a panel of local filmmakers and artists. The two categories are for best short film under five minutes and best short film over five minutes.
A free screening of the films will be held at the Cinema Twin on August 23rd with doors opening at 1:00 and the shorts starting at 1:30. Awards will be given immediately after the screening. Cinema Twin concession will be open for the showings of the film. Please do not bring any outside food or drink.
