Second Annual Member's Salon and Sale

The second Annual Members’ Salon is a celebration of the talent of local and regional artists. Each year we are impressed by the skill and variety of the artists local to this area. We are afforded a glimpse of what drives artists in this region to create, with wonders of natural scenery and evocations of the beauty surrounding us, as well as experimental, abstract, conceptual, and political approaches to the world in which we live. The exhibition draws together a diverse range of artistic practices including, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and mixed media work.

Work in the exhibition invites viewers to contemplate relationships among residents, the natural environment, culture, and the regions beyond. How we translate our experiences through art is a powerful representation of the time and place we live in. How our public institutions, local governments and population support the pursuit of culture reflects our priorities and the value we place upon artistic expression.

The AGSC is proud to showcase local and regional artists who are all passionate members of our community. Most work in the exhibition is available for purchase through the AGSC. A portion of the proceeds will be directed to support the impactful programs, classes, and events offered by the AGSC every year. The AGSC is proud to play a meaningful role in the artistic lives of its members and is grateful for its membership support.
