Volunteer Opportunities at the Art Gallery of Swift Current!
We are seeking volunteers for the following areas at AGSC:
Gallery
Attendants
Gallery Attendants are responsible for keeping an eye on the Main Gallery or the West Wing Gallery in the Summer. Gallery attendants will greet visitors, make sure visitors are following gallery rules (Ex. No touching the artwork), and answer any questions that visitors may have. This is an independent position. Training will be provided, and gallery staff will be on call.
Reception
Attendants
Reception Attendants lend an extra hand to staff during Public Art Receptions. This may include refilling beverage and refreshment stations, tidying up, and assisting staff in other areas as needed.
Children’s Program Assistants
Children’s Program Assistants lend an extra hand to art instructors during children’s art programs or family events. This may include helping children with projects, handing out materials, and helping the instructor with cleanup.
